7.0.0 bug: Event dialog Outline width is incorrect until its panel width is changed

In the Event dialog, if the Outline is turned on, and if the panel that contains it has been set wider than (some default set by JustinMind?), the outline is too narrow, and doesn't take up the width allocated for it by the user in a previous instantiation of the dialog:

After resizing the panel, the outline expands to fill it correctly (but users would prefer not to have to diddle with the width every time, as you can imagine):

A surprising productivity killer: every time I open the dialog, I have to hover over the resizing area (just a couple of pixels wide) and click-and-drag to get the full outline. Thanks to Fitts's law, acquiring that skinny target is a slow process.
