Add ways to organise the list under the "Masters" panel.

I see that this idea had been added 2 years ago, but it's still "under consideration", so I'll add my 5 cents to the discussion.

Masters are a great feature, but lack of an ability to organize them can turn out as a real bottleneck for big projects. Usage of masters allows starting work quickly, without thinking of a final design for each common element; just adding such groups as e.g. input-icon-caption to masters allows refactoring them in one place without running through the whole project page by page.

Such a workflow requires at least tens (may turn to hundreds easily) of masters. In the current application state these masters are being sorted on the panel, sic - by creation time. Not even by alphabet, so I'll be able to find the one I need in two or more weeks; it's just not usable with more than 20 masters.

IMHO the same goes for Variables tab, as making something smarter than a homepage may require quite much of them. By the way, are there any limitations on numbers of masters and variables used in the project?

Thanks for your detail in describing the problem! I have let our team know that more users would like this feature.

Also, there are no limits for the number of masters or variables in a prototype.
