Auto-Resize on rotation?

Solved Lukas Wohlrab 8 years ago

I am working on an iPhone 6 prototype and the orientation is portrait.

When I simulate my prototype and click rotate, everything sticks to the left side of the screen.

I want to have it centered and expanded so it fits the screen again.

I also want to rotate everything so its readable again.

How do I do that?

Thanks in advance,

Lukas

Hi Lukas,

You can use the "Fit to screen size" option located at the "Simulation settings" gear at the "Simulate" button. Kindly let me know how it goes.

Yes, you can do this, but the issue is that the screen zooms, it doesn't resize, so everything is improperly sized. Any way to work around this?

Hi Randy,

Sorry for our late response. An option is creating a screen adapted for both positions (landscape screen / portrait screen) and then link to the correct screen by creating an event (Gesture / On Landscape / Link to ).

Kindly let me know how it goes.

Hey Sonia - just tried this method and it worked except it restarts the video when you switch orientation (obviously because it's a separate page). Any way to keep the video timelines the same? Some way to get the pages to check each other for a timestamp on switch or something?

Unfortunately no, that's not possible.
