Automatically hide keyboard

Answered Charles-Henry Vespierre 6 years ago

Hi there,

I'm discovering this amazing tool but I have a question about keyboard and inputs.

I'm currently designing a credit card form and I would know if there is an easy way to make AUTOMATICALLY disappear the keyboard after the user filled up the last CVV digit.

I know the COUNT condition to trigger it but I don't find the event.

Thanks a lot

Hi Charles-Henry.

Unfortunately this isn't possible to do right now, but I have forwarded this request to our team.

Best,

Danielle

Hi Danielle,

Any update on this in order to hide automatically the keyboard?

Unfortunately no - but I'll let our team know that this would be helpful to add in future updates.

Hi Danielle,

I have the same request. Right now I have to add an Android "hide keyboard" icon above where the keyboard pops up and then create an Event for that icon to Show the same icon. It's already showing, so the only thing that happens is the keyboard hides itself when the icon is clicked. That makes the keyboard disappear, but it would be great if this wasn't necessary as it clutters up the page. It should just autohide after a few seconds of no typing or other Event one can set.

It's been two years since this was requested. It's an annoyance, and I'm sure it's not just the three of us who find it annoying. Please have your developers implement a fix ASAP, as it seems so obvious and problematic that it's almost like a bug that was never fixed. Please submit this as a bug fix, as it's really not a feature we're requesting here.
