BUG: Eyedropper tool only reading #000000 (Mac OS)

Solved Julian Dyer 6 years ago

The eyedropper tool has broken since the last update. (Mac OS 12.12.5).

When using the eyedropper tool to record colours only give #000000 regardless of which colour is hovered over. This has effectively broken any ability to colour match with the eyedropper tool on background and fonts.

To recreate:

1. Make new prototype.

2. Place multiple coloured blocks onto canvas

3. Create additional block. Use the Colour option and select the eyedropper tool. Readout states #000000 regardless of which coloured block is hovered over.

Dear Julian,

You are right. Its a bug related with Mac OS without retina screen. Our development team is aware of this issue, and we have added this to our backlog to fix ASAP. Unfortunately I don't have any workaround for this issue right now - so we apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

Best,

Hi Sonia,

Thanks for letting me know. I use my Retina MBP plugged into a non retina external monitor connected via HDMI. Hope this helps you to find a fix. Let me know if you need any more information.

Thanks,

Julian
