Can I change "orientation", "columns" and "cells per row" of a data grid on screen resize?

Answered Hamid Raza 7 years ago

Actually, I want to create a responsive change in layout. I have a data grid in my prototype and initial setting are [Orientation: Horizontal], [Columns: 2], [Cells per page: 0].

Now I want to know how can I change data-grid [Columns: 2] to [Columns: 3] if window size in greater than 1920?

Dear Hamid,

Unfortunately, there is no possibility to modify those elements of a DataGrid dynamically.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Justinmind's marketing team advertises that rearrange is possible in their blog post "5 tips to make your datalists and grids look awesome." Has this been resolved? I cannot figure out how to rearrange my data grid into different columns and cells.

Select the grid in the outline palette, then look to the properties palette. There, you can change the number of columns visible. If you want to adjust the cell size and appearance, select Grid_cell_1 in the outline palette, and you can drag to change the size of the cell, or again use the properties palette to make changes to the cell.

Hope this helps.
