Cannot Paste Hex Code from Digital Color Meter into JustinMind

Solved Nick 7 years ago

Anybody else unable to copy Hex Code from Digital Color Meter into JustinMind?

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Digital Color Meter

2. Copy Hex Code in Digital Color Meter

3. Open JustinMind window

4. Select widget, open background color dialog

5. Click in the Hex Code input field then Command + V

I am aware of the color capture feature in JustinMind, but I frequently need to grab colors from screens outside of JIM. I can copy and paste six digit codes without the # symbol just fine. So maybe the Digital Color Meter is copying the # to the clipboard and JIM cannot read it or doesnt accept the extra character?

Hi Nick,

You are right. Justinmind does not permit to paste the complete code including the # symbol. I have already uploaded this subject on our product backlog so our development team can take into account to include this feature on future updates
