Google font sync issues.
I have a shared prototype that uses Open Sans synced through Google fonts. When I sync fonts, it pulls in all except the two weights (light and semibold) that I need. Also, when I try to assign other weights to a label or rich text it sometimes won't apply or change the font styles.
I've made sure to remove all instances of Open Sans on my computer, and even went so far as to clear my font cache and reinstall Justinmind from scratch. I hope somebody has an answer, as this is making it really difficult to work.
Hello Bart,
We're sorry to hear the appropriate font styles are unavailable, as light and semibold should indeed be listed. We are currently looking into why this is occurring and will provide an update as soon as possible.
Best,
Luisa

Hello Bart,
In order to further investigate this matter, we would be grateful if you could provide your system specifications and the Justinmind version being used.

Sure. I'm on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) running OS X Yosemite (Version 10.10.2). I'm using Justinmind version 6.4.1.

Hi Bart and Luisa,
I have the same problem on a MacBook Pro running the same iOS and Jim. I need Light and Regular of Open Sans, which were the only two in font menu when I installed Jim. But when I added Open Sans as a Google font, Light was missing. I have spent 5 hours trying to get it back!
When I get rid of all the new Goggle Open Sans fonts and reinstall the previous ones, the style menu is grayed out and I can't select them. They also do not display properly on screen.

Same issue as Shaz!
Macbook Pro (13-inch, medio 2012), OSX Yosemite (10.10.3), JIM (6.5.0).

I seem to have found a solution.
Delete the concerned font in your system font handler, restart your machine, start JIM and install the font from Google again.

Oddly, I have the opposite.
Macbook Air, Mavericks, JIM 6.9.1.
When I select Open Sans I can only see Light and Semibold
When I select the Google Fonts from the list, it says it can't connect to Google Fonts. when I select other fonts, NOT Open sans, it still can't connect to Google Fonts, so the problem seems to be the connection, not the font!
Is there a manual ay to install the font after I download them myself it from Google Fonts?

Didn't help as it wasn't installed on my computer in the first place.
