Hidden objects visible in Expression Builder

Solved Markku 12 years ago

Expression builder / Screens view shows objects that have been hidden in Outline panel.

This is s problem when you have created a large object on top of the main UI and hid the object for purpose. It gets hard to select objects in Expression Builder because this "large object" is not hidden anymore and hides other elements that you want to create interactions for.

In my mind what is hidden in main view should be hidden in EB. Other solution would be to offer Outline panel also in EB, so that you can hide/show objects there.

The next update will have an outline panel in EB as well.

Victor this is not really solved (as of 5.6.1). Elements that have had its visibility set to "off" in the outline still show in the "Expressions Builder". All elements in the "Expressions Builder" are always visible.

There is an outline panel in the EB, as you promised. But I still have to turn them off every time I am building an interaction.

The state in the outline needs to be transferred to the EB. =)

Cheers

Is there any interest at JustinMind of making the visibility of elements in the expression builder outline respect the visibility that your users have *quite* *laboriously* set on 100s of items in the canvas outline? Can I get an Amen?
