How to set up a menu on all screens

Hello can anyone help me set up a simple menu that opens on every screen - the instructions are very confusing and not clear on the web site

Can you describe what you are trying to accomplish in more detail? Are you trying to link each icon into another screen?

the menu at the bottom of the page (contacts/calendar/map/settings) I want visible on every page with the links to that page
