Icon's color not displayed in a datagrid?

Solved Pierre Jamet 8 years ago

Hi Justinmind team,

I used to add icons in my datagrids (chevron, plus,...) to indicate a possible action (expand, add,...)

In the new widget libraries (android icon, iOS icon) when I put my icons on a grid cell of a datagrid, the color of the icon - which is now a SVG and no a text with a particular font anymore - is not displayed anymore.

The icon, which is blue for example, stay black when I simulate.

Is it a bug you know and that is in your backlog? Do you know when it will be resolved?

By the way do you still have icon widget librairies like android, iOS, fontawesome ... in font version?

I did know how to use them and the workaround to not have any display bug when simulating. I would like to use them in parallel with SVG ones.

Thank a lot,

Have a goo day

Hi Pierre,

I haven't been able to reproduce this issue. Can you attach a vp file with an example and describe the steps you've been following so I can analyse it and see what might be happening?

Regarding the icons, Android and OS galleries are the ones that have been converted to SVG. Unfortunately this galleries can't be used as a fonts anymore.

Hi Sonia,

Here a prototyp of a data grid with two icons (Done in green, Delete in red) :

When simulating they are black.

My steps :

  1. Create a data master
  2. Create a data grid
  3. Drop icons on the grid
  4. Change the color of icons
  5. Simulate

PS : By the way I can't attach a .vp file in this forum...

Kindly let me know how it goes.
