"Lock horizontal scroll" parameter issue on iOS app simulation

Solved FTP 6 years ago

I think there's a bug with the "Lock horizontal scroll" parameter in between JIM 8.4.x and the 1.0.8 iOS app.

I moved from JIM 8.2.2/iOS app 1.0.7 to JIM 8.4.3/iOS app 1.0.8 and a new behaviour suddenly appeared on unmodified iPhone prototypes. After few tests, I found the issue.

When there's an object like a Dynamic panel outside the right side of the canvas (like to simulate a sliding sub menu with list values to choose), we can enable "Lock horizontal scroll" to make sure we can't scroll the page right and left in between the main page and the sub menus Dynamic panel waiting outside the canvas.

But this behaviour (of "Lock horizontal scroll" forbidden) has suddenly stop working on the 1.0.8 iOS app with JIM 8.4.x prototypes, while it was working fine on the 1.0.7 iOS app with 8.2.2 prototypes AND it's still working fine on JIN 8.4.3 PC simulation!

Are you aware about the issue?

Any fix?

FYI I found a temporary workaround: enable "Hide component" of the Dynamic panel outside the canvas to make sure we can't scroll + add Show & Hide events everywhere we make this Dynamic panel move in and out the canvas. But it's heavy while it should work without.

We are aware of this and are working on a fix now.

In the meantime, we are glad you found a temporary workaround!

Apologies for any inconvenience.
