Recognizing textstyles

Answered Lindsey Steffek 7 years ago

Once the design is imported into JIM, is there any way for the system to identify textstyles or colors used, and/or display a styleguide for me?

Hi Lindsey,

Can you elaborate more on what you mean?

Hi Sonia,

Yes I was referring to if you import your designs into JIM, is there a way JIM can pick up all of the font styles your are using in the designs. If so is there a way to export a list and/or assign a name to the font styles?

Thank you,

Hi Lindsey,

From which app are you trying to import your designs?

Hi Sonia,

I would be importing from Sketch, but it would be good to know if it would work from all applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc)

Thank you!

Dear Lindsey,

At the moment. Justinmind is just integrated with Sketch. Once you import your designs into JIM the font will be detected only if the font is already installed on your computer.
