Sharing: Prototype has not a valid format

In Progress Hendrik Frohling 5 years ago

When trying to share my prototype I get the error message that "Prototype has not a valid format" even though it previously worked with the same prototype.

Hope you can help!

Does this error occur if you try to share other prototype files, or is it just for this one file in particular?

What's frustrating to me is that it's not just one file, its like the whole prototype now. For weeks I was uploading and attaching images, gifs and everything flowing nicely. Now I'm trying to upload free stock photos and its not even working. Invalid format invalid format. Wasted a full day trying to adjust, reshape, use a different method maybe url to post the content nothing is working all invalid options. I am on a windows 10 and updated to the latest version of Justinmind under the help section.

Sorry to hear about this! To clarify - are you trying to share the prototype and are seeing invalid format message? Or are you seeing that message when trying to import images? Can you attach the prototype and the images here so we can check it out? You can compress the prototype to .zip/.rar format to attach it here.

I'm having this same issue. Went to share my prototype that I've spend HOURS compiling and I get the same error message. My prototype includes mp4 videos. So I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. It works fine when simulated. I created a differet prototype last week (without videos) and had no problems with the share function.
