Timer keeps getting faster

So I built a timer, similar to the JIM-provided examples (from forum answers).
When I click a button to reset the timer, then restart it, the timer keeps getting faster and faster.
How can I keep the timer ticking at the same speed?

Thanks for responding. I figured out: for each press, I need to shut-off then reactivate the timer. Thanks!
