Vertical line is difficult to select
When using a line object in my widget, the line starts out as horizontal. It is very easy to select it once it's in the canvas, for example if I wanted to drag and move it. But, if I rotate the line to make it vertical, it becomes very difficult to select it. I have to spend a lot of time lining up my mouse cursor just right, which is very very difficult and time-intensive. Alternatively I can lasso select the line, but sometimes this is problematic if there are other objects in the selection area. The line should be just as easily selectable when vertical as it is when horizontal.

Just click on the vertical line within the outline in the lower right corner and you'll be able to select and move it.

When I have dozens of objects in the outline that is not really an efficient option. Plus, you are offering professional software so I would think you should support selecting an item on the screen by clicking it.
I am disappointed with your reply in that it implies you are okay with customers doing inefficient workarounds when your software is not functioning as it should. I hope you will add this issue to an bug/enhancement list to be fixed in the next release.
