Solved Victor Conesa 12 years ago

So, I go to download the pro version and my system reports the install has a virus. What gives? WS.Reputation.1

I'm sorry but the installer has no virus in it. Have you downloaded the installer from our website (http://www.justinmind.com/download) ?

Ok. But you should know what Norton is not letting be installed. How can we resolve this? From a user experience standpoint this is not a good thing. What can you do to configure your product so that it doesn't have the signature of a virus??

I'm not going to install it until you fix this.

Thanks

Rich

Yes, this was downloaded directly from your site. I did it again just now and received the same results,

Hi,

It looks like Norton identifies it as a virus just because there aren't enough Norton users who have downloaded it previously. It seems we have to apply for being added to some kind of white list of theirs. We already did that so I hope in a few weeks the message will be removed. There are other softwares having the same problem:

The people at Symantec told me they have added Prototyper to their white list. Could someone using Norton verify it please?

Check out this guide from Norton, which should let you download Justinmind: https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v80629965_EndUserProfile_en_us
